How Well Do You Know Yourself? Karma and Past Lives

How well would you say you know yourself? Have you contemplated the question before? I mean, beyond the typical passing thought, have you put much effort into this area? I wonder if this isn’t one of the most important questions we could ask ourselves, in terms of impact and empowerment to our life. I mean, maybe not. Maybe you think it’s a goofy question. Let me explain. Sure, you’ve contemplated the so called “big” questions of life like, where you’ll live, what school you’ll go to, whom you’ll marry, and whether or not you’ll have kids. All very important decisions indeed. What I’m suggesting is that as a society, we don’t stop at mainstream ideologies, but go deeper on the journey inward that I believe we’re all on.

Why do you think you’re here? On earth I mean. Have you stumbled upon your purpose yet? Do you believe we’re the only speck of life in all of existence? Do you have any idea how vast the Universe is? Have you considered the idea of multiple universes? Who are you really? Do you have any memory of how you got here? Me either really….but I have some ideas.

Some would say we live in a surface society and if you’re complacent, “surface” is just what you’ll be. No depth. Do you know whether or not you could defend yourself if you had to? Do you know if you could survive if the shelves at Wal-Mart were empty? If everything in your life changed over night, could you adjust, adapt? Have you been tested to your limits to see how far you can actually go? How well do you really know yourself? Who would you say you are?

Consider that earth may be going through an energetic shift which serves to shake things up, change old paradigms, systems - shaking the old loose and ushering in the new. Ancient texts and modern science shows this has all happened before. It’s not new. I believe that people today, because of these shifts, are learning more about themselves in 1 year than the last 20? What do you think? Things appear to be changing energetically and cosmically whether we recognize it or not, and depending on how well you adapt to the change and shift your paradigm will determine what you experience during the whole process. Different people will experience different realities. It won’t all be doom and gloom, neither will it all be utopia for everyone. I feel that we’re all being called to a new, and greater potential. The choice is up to you.

You can actually have a look inside past lives and karma by breaking - segmenting your “current life” into pieces. These segments offer clues into previous life fragments that overlap into the current life stream you’re now experiencing. There’s something I’ve termed “canceling karma”.This is an opportunity where a karmic event appears in your life, and you then have the opportunity to make the same worn out decision you’ve always made and continue the merry-go-round karmic loop until you choose another path.

When this karmic event appears in your life, if you choose a new decision, a new path, what I believe occurs is a “canceling of karma”, a break in the cycle or karmic loop. This is great news, because it puts the control in your hands. The choice is yours, and means that you’re not condemned to a life of negative karma; you have a choice in the matter. It seems the universe is structured upon personal responsibility and free will. We have the choice to do what ever we want, literally.

Yet, it’s wise to understand the law of cause and effect, and the law of attraction; that everything you do is returned and everything has an effect. What’s the effect/affect you’re creating? What are you drawing to you? Going back to breaking your life into little pieces to get a glimpse into past lives. For example: if bad things always seem to happen, or you can’t seem to hold down a job, or you suffer one broken relationship after another. You can choose that particular segment of life and examine it for clues into the past - previous lives and how the cycle of karma is presenting itself in your life now. If you can identify these key points and make changes, you’re on your way to a new horizon - a new path - a new beginning, and the future looks bright. If you choose however, to succumb to the pressures, stress, and distractions of life and ignore personal responsibility and the opportunity for empowerment, then you’re likely to stay on the same worn out merry-go-round. What choices will you make? Where will you go? What will you create? It’s up to you.

Peace.
